Aura Dental is a fully private practice in the heart of St John’s Wood, London, providing all aspects of dental care including dental implants and short term cosmetic orthodontics. As a long-term EXACT user, Practice Manager Nadia Udalcova has joined the Challenge with the specific aim of increasing new patient numbers and improving their existing patient retention systems. Month 1 - What are we hoping to achieve in the next 12 months?

I decided to take up the Good to Great Challenge because I know we need to focus on some specific areas – these being to increase patient numbers, increase treatment uptake, encourage referrals from existing patients and improve recall efficiency. We have always used Software of Excellence but our biggest current “pain” is that because we are not gaining enough new patients, we don’t have enough revenue generating appointments and therefore not enough revenue. We are hoping to double our current new patient numbers (from 30 to 50/60 per month) and greatly improve on everything mentioned above.
